Element Architectural Group was established as an entrepreneurial Architectural firm under the name Altman Architects in 1996 by its Principal and Owner Mr. Brian Altman. Brian Altman has been a licensed Architect in the States of New Jersey and New York since 1992 and has dedicated his career specializing in all types of commercial and private projects. From the very beginning, the firms mission focused on multi-faceted Architectural projects and the design of commercial, corporate, and private residential. These types of projects provided Mr. Altman and the other members of the firm the level of involvement, complexity and responsibility that's associated with these types of challenging and time sensitive projects and they account for a large percentage of the current workload in the office each and every year. Element Architectural Group also designs public facilities for a wide variety of public and municipal clients throughout the New York and New Jersey area. Today, the firm is known for being one of the key Architectural firms in the State that have expertise and a solid reputation in the field of Architecture and personal service to their clients. From 1996 till 2006 the office was located in historic downtown Englewood, New Jersey directly accessible to major New Jersey highways and five miles from New York City. As the firm continued to grow, and their client base expanded, the need for additional space became more apparent. In 2006, the firm moved to a newer and larger office in Paramus, New Jersey. The new office was custom designed by the firm specifically organized and structured to meet the growing needs and increasing size of the firm.
Today, as the firm grows, it continues to gain and earn credentials and qualifications with many State Agencies and Authorities. It also continues to form widespread relationships with reputable and experienced Engineering consultants. Element Architectural Group is strong and continues as a full service professional Architectural Design Firm serving their clients wherever it may take them. Completed projects include new facilities, additions, renovations, alterations, changes-of-use, and building repairs and upgrades for a wide variety of buildings of various ages and construction types. As part of our standard services we also include specialized services such as feasibility studies, detailed estimating, site planning, geotechnical studies, value engineering, and construction scheduling services. In 2007 we were approved by the NJDPMC as Historical Preservation Architects. This additional credential has further broadened our expertise and we are currently working on projects which have a Historic component. Due to our flexibility and our ability to provide diversified services, we have remained strong and continue to assist our clients with all their professional design needs.
All of our projects are developed in close coordination between you the Client and our team of professional Designers and Engineers. Element Architectural Group is fully insured and pre-qualified by many State agencies for public Municipal and Institutional projects throughout the State of New Jersey and New York. We currently maintain all pre-qualifications and classifications as experts in ADA Compliance & Historic Preservation.
